The Doily prop can be used as a cape to drape over the baby, used as a basket detail, or underneath the baby.
Its a prop that can be use other ways than just baby. After you are done getting those special photos use the doily on tables or put it in a frame or shadow box as wall decor.
The Doily makes a great home decor items!
You can easily use any yarn or hook size to make these doily’s smaller or bigger for just the right look of course exact details are given in the pattern for the Newborn size.

Perfect project for babies born in February . . . wait, I have a grandson coming in February, wonder what it would look like in blues? =D

Your doily sets are adorable. I like how the photographer placed it on the bucket in the snow scene as a snowflake. Another use for the set once the photos have been taken is to work it into a dress with the doily being the bib of a jumper. ^_^

I like this and I would suggest giving to the parent if thy want to frame them in a shadow box along with the picture. I have done this with a bonnet my husband's grandmother wore. I think it is one of his most prized possessions.
