Cross Your Heart Coffee Cozy - Free Crochet Pattern

Do you love Coffee! I drink way to much so I think this year I'll start a goal of trying to write 12 coffee cozy patterns. One for each month! Here is the 1st. Lets see how far I get.

This one is Valentines Day themed. It uses fun crossed double crochets to make x's and some fun combination of other simple stitches to make hearts. You'll be sure to fall in love with this one. It's a great stash buster too as you only need small amounts of yarn. Have fun with Valentines Day Colors like pinks and reds, or go with a pastel theme like conversation hearts! Enjoy!

*For Preteen - Adult size do 50 stitches for Round 1

This pattern is so versatile. Here are some other fun options and ideas!
1. You can take off rows to make a thinner cowl (not hooded) or add more stitches in length for a longer cowl.
  1. You could sew closed one end and use it as a purse or bag.
  2. You could decrease the stitches around and turn it into a headband
  3. You could use it as a toddler skirt, with the drawstring. and pair it with cute leggings.

I will be adding more samples and more specific patterns for free with this soon. So keep watching the blog for more details. :) http://calleighsclips.blogspot.com
