Sugar Faerie Super Scarf : Free Crochet Pattern

If you love to follow yarn trends there have been a few fun ones this fall. From yarn pooling to fun self stripping yarns. I'd avoided the Caron Cakes because they were hard to find and do have some wool in them (which I can handle but it usually makes me a little itchy), but I happened to be in Micheal's one day and found a few skeins that jumped in my cart. My Daughter (7yrs) picked out the colors.

I knew this would make a great super scarf but with a big scarf and it still being 80 degrees around here I didn't want it to be heavy! Even though I used two full skeins and I did a fun lacy look texture so it's light weight and still cozy.

If super scarves aren't for you simple make it the length you want or join ends to make an infinity scarf.
It's also wide enough that you could make it a gorgeous shawl.

I enjoyed working with the Caron Cakes yarn and actually would like to get more. If you're looking for a wool free alternative Premier Yarns came out with Sweet Roll. Which is similar. It's coming to Joann's soon so I hope to try it soon.

I hope you enjoy this sweet pattern!

The direction to this patter is very poorly written very confusing. I been crocheting for many years and this pattern has me pulling my hair out. My husband is confused with the pattern also.

I'm confused. I chain 55, but I only end up with 4 chains at the end. I've done it 5 times, still only 4 chains. What am I doing wrong?

I'm glad you asked I worked out row 1 again and you just need to add one more chain! 56 instead of 55. Sorry for the typo! ;)
