This was a special design for a my Son's Kindergarten teacher for Christmas! He said her favorite color was turquoise and he thought she would love this yarn. He picked it out from my stash. I only had one Skien and wanted something that worked up quick but with a fun texture! You could make this in many other colors solid or varigated and get a totally different look. I love one skein, chunky yarn projects and I hope you will too! Enjoy!

I'm not getting it. Do you have a video tutorial for this pattern?
I do not have a video and I'm horrible and making them but It is something I'm going to attempt to do soon. Or at least one on how to do the decrease! :)
I'm having a problem with the decreases, don't fully understand the pattern.
Im using a K hook, should I increase my beginning chain?
If you use a K hook it will come out smaller but I would say it will likely still work just be a smaller around the neck cowl and not be as long. If you want it the same length you would need to either match gauge or yes adjust the beginning chain but I'm not sure what that adjustment would be.
I made this yesterday for my daughter, using a K hook with Loops and Threads "Country Loom" yarn for my daughter. It turned out beautifully - and worked up quickly. Thanks so much for posting this pattern.
So glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks dor your sweet commemts!
I don't remember how to make a picot. If you could elaborate in your terms and stitches section and help those of us who haven't crocheted in a while, by defining how each stitch is made, it would be a great help. Thanks. I really want to make this. I have a wonderful daughter who loves scarves. Thanks, again.
If you look in the terms/stitches section you'll see it explained under "special stitches" ;)
Looks like something I could handle! Thanks so much
Please could you clarify row 4 of the Arctic Ocean möbius cowl. Having a terrible time making it work.
Please notify me.
I would like some clarification on this pattern Row 4. Would you please advise me.
Hi! I'm so sorry I missed your previous comment. We are in process of moving this month! Life is crazy! I'm happy to help but emailing me might be better communication. Calleighclips@att.net - what part of the row are you having trouble with. Did you see the decrease explained in the notes above under special stitches?
I realize this is an older post, but Crochet Patterns Galore featured it today on Facebook. Just wanted to let you know the link for the PDF is not longer valid. The hosting site is no longer working.
Thanks for letting me know. I must have missed removing it. Oops!
Wondering if you ever clarified row 4, as I think I will have a problem with it too. Love the scarf and if it is anything like your Fall Harvest scarf, it will definitely work for me.
Sorry, I finally noticed your explanation above as to what "decrease" meant. I get it now.
