Do you love Coffee! I drink way to much so I think this year I'll start a goal of trying to write 12 coffee cozy patterns. One for each month! Here is the 1st. Lets see how far I get.
This one is Valentines Day themed. It uses fun crossed double crochets to make x's and some fun combination of other simple stitches to make hearts. You'll be sure to fall in love with this one. It's a great stash buster too as you only need small amounts of yarn. Have fun with Valentines Day Colors like pinks and reds, or go with a pastel theme like conversation hearts! Enjoy!
Cross Your Heart Coffee Cozy
Do not use my images for any purpose! If you sell items made from my patterns please make and photograph your own work! Thank you! ~Elisabeth
Worsted Weight Yarn of Choice in 3 colors
I used scraps of Vanna’s Choice, you don’t need much at all! A great stash buster!
I'm not entirely sure but I think the colors I used are pink, raspberry and silver heather.

I love the idea of a pattern a month for these coffee cozies!!!! I can't wait to make them! This will be perfect to give as gifts with a coffee giftcard too!
This is super cute! And with your crossed double crochets, you are SO close to cabling! I can't wait to see what other designs you have up your sleeve!
I love this. I'm also planning to do different patterns for every holiday.
I'm trying to lay of my coffee addiction and drink more tea and water. But I love this and can't wait to see what other patterns you'll make. I can always convert it to a tea mug cozy instead :)
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely. I like how the crossed stitches look like hearts. Aww, you create so many patterns I wish I had more Crochet Time in my day and of course an unlimited amount of yarn.
I like the pattern. I will try it but what I really love is how you say "if you sell items made from my patterns please make and photograph your own work! Thank you! ~Elisabeth". Too true.
Really cute! Love how you simulated heart rows!
I love it! I have a stack of little hearts all in a row next to me now. I guess with valentines day coming up and a multitude of pink yarn left from October I have hearts on the brain. I will be making this over the weekend!
This is just what I needed for valentines day. These will make the perfect teacher gift. Thank you for the free pattern, and I will be looking forward to your other 11 patterns
This is so cute, perfect for valentines day!! I love that it doesn't appear to take up too much yarn. Thanks for sharing :)
An excellent idea - and challenge to design 12 coffee cup cozies this year :) I love this design and it is perfect for Valentines Day!
What a Neat and clever idea. Can't wait to try these and get all 12 patterns. How do I get on your email list? Thanks

Well I started this last year and failed. Oops. Don't plan on it right now as I have other designs in working on. If you eat visiting the full site there should be a "subscribe by email box" on the right column.
