Preemie Tiger Hat Pattern for Rosies Cozies

I've been a long time follower of a blog by Betsy called The Dainty Daisy. She started Rosies Cozies Preemie Project  created to honor the families of those fighting for the lives of their children in the NICU through hat donations.

The Dainty Daisy

She runs a crochet business too and has a few free crochet patterns and for purchase patterns.

She wrote up a premie pattern with some different options (flowers, earflaps, owl and monkey)  and had address information on where to send them here: Rosies Cozies

She also has links to several other great preemie patterns and sizing info on her blog

I'm excited to be a part of this and I hope that you might consider doing it too! If you don't crochet these darling little hats are a great place to start and put your new skills to good use ;)

She asked designers to make up some new patterns with a zoo theme and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I didn't want just a basic hat. I wanted it simple detail but with special touches. I decided on a Tiger Cub!! My testers really enjoyed this project and many of them are planning on donating there hats and a few more to the cause too. I'm so glad they decided to get involved to.

If you want to donate your hats to Rosies Cozies please send them to The Dainty Daisy at the address below.

Rosie's Cozies
6026 Kalamazoo Ave SE #119

I hope you enjoy the pattern and that you will donate to this fabulous cause as I have and will continue to do!
