Arctic Ocean Mobius Cowl - Free Crochet Pattern

This was a special design for a my Son's Kindergarten teacher for Christmas! He said her favorite color was turquoise and he thought she would love this yarn. He picked it out from my stash. I only had one Skien and wanted something that worked up quick but with a fun texture! You could make this in many other colors solid or varigated and get a totally different look. I love one skein, chunky yarn projects and I hope you will too! Enjoy!

  4. Im using a K hook, should I increase my beginning chain?

  5. If you use a K hook it will come out smaller but I would say it will likely still work just be a smaller around the neck cowl and not be as long. If you want it the same length you would need to either match gauge or yes adjust the beginning chain but I'm not sure what that adjustment would be.

  6. I made this yesterday for my daughter, using a K hook with Loops and Threads "Country Loom" yarn for my daughter. It turned out beautifully - and worked up quickly. Thanks so much for posting this pattern.

  7. I don't remember how to make a picot. If you could elaborate in your terms and stitches section and help those of us who haven't crocheted in a while, by defining how each stitch is made, it would be a great help. Thanks. I really want to make this. I have a wonderful daughter who loves scarves. Thanks, again.

Calleighclips@att.net - what part of the row are you having trouble with. Did you see the decrease explained in the notes above under special stitches?
